Rig Rundown with John Sotelo: Drummer for Margot Kim's All Fired Up!
We hope you enjoy our second installment of "Rig Rundowns",with local drummer John Sotelo, drummer for Margot Kim's All Fired Up: Tribute to Pat Benatar and Ladies of the 80's!
Margot Kim is a local news anchor for ABC30 Action News who was recently interviewed by local attorney, Marc Kapetan on his daytime radio show where she mentioned always wanting to join a band where she can tribute to Pat Benatar and ladies of the 80's. Marc just so happens to also be a Bass player which sparked an idea for him. He reached out to John, whom he had been friends with for years about asking Margot to start up this tribute band and John said 'ABSOLUTELY!'
John has been a local drumming great for many years and comes from a musical background! He is left-handed and plays a lefty kit!
This was part of Margot's show at Tower Theater here in Fresno, California!

Bentley's IS NOT A DRUM SHOP! Bentley's is THE DRUM SHOP of all Drum Shops that is not by any means able to be described in a review..... If Dana Bentley can't source it, find it and deliver it, then it most likely doesn't exist. 32+ years in business says volumes.
Buy a pair of sticks, purchase a full kit or just go in and look around, you will be treated as though you are the only customer that they know.....
If you want spectacular service, insane inventory and enjoy the absolute insanity of the store setup and multitude of great drum and percussion items, then prepare for a ride once you enter the facility.
This review is derived from many years of doing business there and after your first visit then you are hooked. Anyone can sell drums and percussion instruments, but only Dana and his crew can DELIVER A BENTLEY'S EXPERIENCE!

Bentleys Drum shop is awsome! I drop in and pick up hand percussion instruments like my tambourine, shakers and maracas. They even had a bodhran drum my husband gifted me! Customer service is so friendly and Alexis is there she has no problem in demonstrating the sounds of the various Cajons out on the floor. She knows I'm a beginner so she is very patient.
What's ironic I spoke to a friend from San Luis Obispo he mentioned he likes coming into Bentleys when he's in town if I've been in the shop! Yeah!
